The Solar Eclipse®

The Eagle Eye with glare control

In 1992, Mirror Lite applied for patent on the first Oval-Elliptical mirror lens for the school bus market. Now the Jr. Eagle Eye® is available in a glare-reduced model called the Eagle Eye Solar Eclipse™ which is a direct upgrade for any standard oval crossview on a school bus, and provides a glare filter to protect eyes from reflected sun glare: one of the driver's most dangerous obstacles to clear vision on the road.

The "Artificial Horizon" Feature

The Solar Eclipse is easily set up for basic adjustments often necessary on the road or just prior to fine tuning the adjustments on the grid. This pre-adjustment is easy thanks to the Solar Eclipse's built-in "artificial horizon" feature, illustrated at right.
